Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how BidMeat.eu uses cookies and comparable browser storage in connection with its business-to-business storefront. BidMeat.eu is operated by Karpatia Rzeszów Sp. z o.o., Zaczernie 792A, 36-062 Zaczernie, Poland, EU VAT ID PL5170399989, REGON 383671269. Privacy questions may be sent to sales@bidmeat.eu.

1. What cookies and browser storage are

Cookies are small text files that a website asks a browser to store and return during later requests. They can help a site recognise a browser session, preserve a user choice or protect a transaction. Similar technologies include local browser storage, session storage and identifiers maintained by essential service components. In this Policy, "cookies" is used as a convenient collective term where the same explanation applies.

Cookies may be first-party, meaning they are set in connection with BidMeat.eu, or third-party, meaning a technical service involved in delivering a function sets or receives them. They can last only for the browser session or remain for a defined period. A cookie does not by itself provide BidMeat with access to unrelated files on your device.

2. Strictly necessary cookies

BidMeat uses strictly necessary cookies or equivalent storage to provide functions requested by the user and to protect the platform. These technologies may maintain an authenticated session, associate cart state with the correct browser, preserve security and anti-abuse controls, route requests correctly, remember essential interface choices and support account or checkout continuity.

Necessary cookies are not used merely to build advertising profiles. The legal basis for related personal-data processing is the performance of requested service steps, compliance with legal duties where applicable, and BidMeat's legitimate interest in providing a secure and reliable B2B platform. Where the law permits necessary storage without consent, it is used on that basis because the service could not function correctly without it.

3. Authentication, security, cart and account functionality

Authentication cookies allow the platform to recognise a signed-in business user without requiring credentials on every page. Security cookies help prevent session misuse, cross-site request attacks, automated abuse and unauthorised access. Cart storage preserves selected products and quantities while the customer moves between product, cart and Review pages. Account-related storage can support the selected warehouse and other choices needed for a requested transaction.

Authentication values should be protected by browser and server controls such as HttpOnly, Secure and SameSite attributes where applicable. Users must still protect their devices and log out from shared computers. BidMeat does not use necessary session storage as permission to expose one customer's orders, documents, profile or warehouses to another customer.

4. Optional analytics and marketing technologies

BidMeat does not claim in this Policy that Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or any particular advertising-cookie service is currently deployed. If optional analytics, personalisation or marketing technologies are introduced, they will be described transparently and will be activated only with consent where consent is legally required.

Optional consent must be freely given, specific, informed and capable of withdrawal. Refusing optional technologies must not prevent access to core storefront functions that can operate without them. Any future consent interface should allow users to understand relevant categories and change their choice. Withdrawal will not make earlier consent-based processing unlawful.

5. Third-party technical services

The platform relies on technical providers for functions such as hosting, commerce infrastructure, email, security and road-routing calculations. When a browser communicates directly with a provider or an embedded service, that provider may receive limited technical data such as IP address, browser details and request time. BidMeat configures these services for their intended operational purpose and does not treat their presence as evidence of advertising tracking.

Some third-party services may operate under their own privacy terms when acting as independent controllers. Further information about recipients, processors and possible international transfers is available in the Privacy Policy. The exact technologies may change as infrastructure is maintained, but optional tracking will not be silently reclassified as strictly necessary.

6. Browser controls

Most browsers allow users to view, delete or block cookies, clear site data and control storage permissions. Instructions differ by browser and device and are normally available in the browser's privacy or site-settings menu. Deleting cookies may sign a user out, empty browser-associated cart state or reset preferences.

Blocking strictly necessary cookies can prevent login, secure sessions, cart continuity, warehouse selection, checkout, authenticated document downloads and other account functions from working. This is a technical consequence of disabling required storage, not a refusal of service for declining optional tracking. Users who block all cookies may still be able to view some public content but should expect transaction features to fail.

7. Consent and lawful use

Where Polish or EU law requires consent before storing or accessing information on a device, BidMeat will request that consent before using the relevant optional technology. Necessary storage is limited to what is reasonably required to provide a requested service, transmit a communication or maintain security, subject to applicable law.

Consent choices, if introduced, may themselves need to be stored so the platform can respect the user's decision. Users can withdraw optional consent through the provided settings or by clearing relevant browser data. Browser-level signals are considered where the applicable service and law support them, but they do not replace a required, clearly presented choice in every circumstance.

8. Updates and contact

We may update this Cookie Policy when platform functionality, technology providers or legal requirements change. The current version will be published on BidMeat.eu. Material changes to optional-cookie practices may also be presented through an updated consent interface where required.

For questions about cookies, browser storage or related personal-data processing, contact Karpatia Rzeszów Sp. z o.o. at sales@bidmeat.eu or at Zaczernie 792A, 36-062 Zaczernie, Poland. Do not send passwords, session values or activation tokens in a support message.
