BidMeat.eu supports two fulfilment options: EXW / Pick-up and Delivery to your warehouse.
Delivery to your warehouse
When you select a saved delivery warehouse, the platform calculates the road distance between the relevant dispatch location and that warehouse.
The delivery charge is calculated using the applicable transport rate configured by BidMeat.
Before the order is submitted, the cart displays:
- Products
- Delivery
- Total
The Delivered price / kg shown for a product is an informational calculation that allocates the delivery charge across the ordered quantity.
Transport remains a separate component of the order and is shown separately in the cart.
Changing the selected warehouse automatically recalculates the delivery price and total.
Delivery estimates and order acceptance
The delivery amount shown during checkout is calculated using the delivery data available to the platform at that time.
Exceptional circumstances such as restricted vehicle access, special unloading requirements, incorrect warehouse data, regulatory restrictions or other non-standard logistical conditions may require clarification before BidMeat accepts the order for fulfilment.
BidMeat will not replace the standard platform calculation with the old manual quotation process unless a particular order genuinely requires individual logistical arrangements.
EXW / Pick-up
Customers may collect goods from the dispatch location specified for the order.
No BidMeat delivery charge is applied to an EXW / Pick-up order.
The collection date and loading window are confirmed as part of order processing.
The expression EXW / Pick-up used in the storefront describes the commercial collection option offered by BidMeat. If a specific Incoterms® rule is expressly agreed in the order confirmation, that agreed rule takes precedence for the relevant transaction.
Temperature-controlled logistics
Fresh/chilled and frozen food products require appropriate transport conditions.
Products requiring incompatible temperature regimes must not be combined in one transport where this could compromise the required conditions. The platform may prevent fresh/chilled and frozen goods from being combined in the same delivery.
Delivery destinations
Delivery is available to business customers in supported European markets and locations.
The delivery price depends primarily on the dispatch location, the selected delivery warehouse, road distance and the applicable transport rate.
Delivery timing
The planned delivery or collection date is confirmed during order processing.
Transport timing may be affected by road conditions, carrier availability, weather, border or regulatory controls, public-authority decisions or other circumstances outside BidMeat's reasonable control.
